Kirk Vandivort
Mr. Vandivort, a native of Dickson County, attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. Mr. Vandivort received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Nashville School of Law. During his legal career, he has worked with the law firm of McGee, Lyons, & Ballinger, PLC and with the Public Defender’s office for the 23rd Judicial District. Mr. Vandivort moved his law practice to Dickson in 1999 and merged with the firm of Reynolds, Potter & Ragan, PLC in 2004.
Currently, Mr. Vandivort is counsel for the City of Charlotte. He has a general trial practice in the areas of domestic relations, personal injury, probate, and County/City Government.
Mr. Vandivort served in the United States Marine Corps and is a veteran of Operation Desert Storm/Persian Gulf War.
Mr. Vandivort, his wife, Roxan and their three daughters, who attend school in Dickson County, reside in Burns on Rocky Creek Farm. Mr. Vandivort serves on the Dickson County School Board and is a deacon in the First Presbyterian Church.
